Duties
- Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using knives.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the catering team in setting up and serving food at events.
- Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
