The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Georgia Blue's catering services, ensuring exceptional service, efficient operations, and customer satisfaction. Catering Manager will directly report to the Director of Catering and also the site GM.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, plan menus, and ensure personalized service for each event.
Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, including staffing, food preparation, setup, and cleanup.
Team Management: Lead, train, and schedule catering staff, ensuring teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to company standards.
Logistics & Operations: Coordinate transportation, delivery, and setup of catering equipment and food items, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that meet client preferences while showcasing Georgia Blue's offerings.
Quality Control: Ensure all food and beverages are prepared, presented, and served according to company standards and health regulations.
Financial Management: Monitor catering budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality service.
Sales & Marketing: Assist in promoting catering services, generating leads, and building long-term client relationships to drive business growth.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Catering Manager, Event Manager, or similar role in the food service or hospitality industry is a plus.
