What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACT Clinician position at GENNTE Technologies?
ACT is an acronym for “Access to Collaborative Treatment.” Collaborative treatment refers to a model of care in which primary care providers and mental health providers collaborate to ensure social, emotional, and cognitive factors are identified and their impact on physical complaints is mitigated. ACT services is effective for a variety of mental and emotional disturbances. These disturbances include but are not limited to trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, chronic pain, suicidality, and childhood disorders.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Master degree in a human service related field including, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or Social Work.
Minimum Experience: Completion of an accredited Master level degree program. Evidence of one year of employment providing direct clinical care to individuals, families and groups with demonstrated proficiency in clinical/therapeutic activities including assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group counseling, and clinical documentation.
License, Certifications, Registration: LMFT, LPC, LBHP or LCSW. Must be working toward Alaska licensure or be able to obtain Alaska license within six months* of hire. Appropriate documentation supporting pertinent professional certifications and registrations required.
