Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a banquet, hospitality, hotel, or catering setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
