The Sr. Packaging Associate 6:55PM-7:00AM role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. As a Senior Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for performing all responsibilities of a Packaging Associate, including training and retraining of newly hired employees.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial set-up of shift assignments, including rotations and break relief.
- Train newly hired employees to perform Packaging Associate job functions in accordance with standard work procedures and good manufacturing principles.
- Work with the Quality Department to ensure products packaged for customer delivery are within specifications.
- Coordinate restock of packaging materials on the lines and assist in maintaining housekeeping standards during the shift.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer or in a leadership capacity preferred.
- Comparable experience handling repetitive tasks at a steady pace.
- Basic understanding of machine and equipment to identify hazards.
