POSITION SUMMARY :

The Sales Account Executive role plays a critical role in growing Genpro’s business and will leverage your existing sales experience, your competitive nature, and your forward thinking persona. This position drives revenue growth through the identification, solicitation and attainment of new business and requires high energy and a results oriented attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Actively seek out and engage new business prospects through focused lead generation and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with essential clients and stakeholders to gain insights into their requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Evaluate a customer’s current transportation requirement and determine transportation solutions that best meet the customer’s needs
  • Set pricing targets and coordinate pricing with Carrier Sourcing
  • Works with customers on improving forecasting and capacity needed
  • Perform comprehensive market research and analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Proven track record of building a book of business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in temperature-controlled transportation i.e. produce and food products.
  • Business Development within Transportation Brokerage (5 years)
  • Experience with these modes of Transportation (i.e., Truckload, Dry Van, Reefer)
  • Strong Selling Skills
  • High energy, hungry, and up for a challenge is KEY.
  • Experience in a sales environment with a track record of success!
  • Experience in transportation brokerage preferred.
  • Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain background preferred.
  • An innate ability to build strong relationships with businesses and decision-makers.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills.
  • An analytical problem solver who sees issues as opportunities.
  • Must be within a commutable distance to Rutherford, NJ.
