  • Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test, including marijuana.

    • Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.

    Armed Security Officers needed in Troy, OH

  • Full Time - 2nd Shift - $19 / hr - Weekly Pay

    • We are seeking energetic individuals to join our team!  No experience necessary, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry. As a security officer with Genric, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our client's property and personnel, as well as your co-workers.

    Responsibilities :

  • Vehicle and Foot patrols
  • Access Control
  • Monitoring CCTV
  • Respond to critical incidents with approved response tools and tactics

    • Qualifications :

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess 20-hour security OPOTA certification
  • Possession of hands-on First Aid / CPR / AED certification preferred but not required
  • One or more years of Security and Supervisory experience
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to meet the criteria to be insured
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers / Guards
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports
  • Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner
  • Possess intermediate computer skills
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain / snow, or heat
  • Ability to follow established security protocols while using initiative and good judgement
