- Confined space permits
- Emergency phone calls etc.
- Associate call offs
- Monitoring/controlling area
- Answering/transferring phone calls
- Camera monitoring
- Emergency dispatching
- Medical
- Fire
- Weather
- Chemical
- Active Threat
- Monitoring local and national news
- Report writing – EDR/code sheets
- Schedule service for pool car fleet cars
- Sitting for the majority of the time at this post
Qualifications needed for this position are as follows:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Some supervisory experience preferred for supervisor position
- Possess High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to withstand frequent sitting, standing, and walking which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
- Ability to follow established security protocols while using initiative and good judgement
