Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Commercial Sales Team at our Corporate Offices in Tacoma, WA as a Commercial Quoting Manager!
Schedule - Monday-Friday
Full Time - Pay Range $100,000-$175,000 annual based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gensco and Slakey strive to be a leader in Commercial HVAC in the states of WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, AK, and NV.
- Work closely on strategy with Gensco Sales VPs and Slakey Sales VPs.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Equipment Sales Managers, and the Factory Leadership Teams at Mitsubishi, Trane, Bryant, American Standard, and others.
- Develop and manage the implementation of Gensco/Slakey’s business plans for Commercial Sales.
- Manage Gensco/Slakey’s Commercial Quoting Sales functions.
- Develop and maintain a strong business with Gensco/Slakey’s Commercial Suppliers and Commercial Customers.
- Directly supervise Commercial Quoter/Estimators and Logistics members.
- Lead with “yes, can do” attitude of customer service.
- On-time and accurate Commercial Quoting.
- The position is mainly office based, but occasional travel to visit Commercial Customers, Outside Sales Teams, Regional Sales Meetings, and Branches.
Skills and Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Five or more years of related work experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment
- Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Strong people skills, recognizes when to use formal or informal approach, not easily intimidated, accessible, ability to say “no” in a firm but polite manner
- Willing to “think out of the box” and identify process improvement opportunities
- High degree of honesty, ethics and integrity with prior work experience handling confidential information
- Able to operate personal computer, calculator and other office machines as well as being proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
- Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies on a frequent basis
