Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Marketing Team at our Corporate Offices in Tacoma, WA as an E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist! Schedule - Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (in office)
Full Time - starting pay range $68,000-$83,000 annually based on experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with Gensco's e-commerce website and the digital marketing and sales strategy that goes along with the website.
- Responsible for identifying and contributing to website enhancements to ensure superior customer experience in areas such as timely and accurate content, and availability of functional tools, as well as, keeping abreast of best practices and industry trends.
- Responsible for documenting and organizing Gensco’s current e-content repository, as well as, collaborating with product experts to validate the accuracy and quality of the product data.
- Assist in the e-content data and lead the efforts in gathering more content, both internally and externally, to support Gensco’s e-commerce goals.
- Responsible for planning, shooting, editing, organizing, and uploading quality product photos taken in Gensco Studios for the success of e-commerce platforms.
- Assist with the enhancement of the Gensco Team website, to better facilitate corporate communication and user engagement.
- Assist in providing both internal and external Customer training and support for Gensco’s online platforms.
- Completion of college program or equivalent experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, content management or related studies.
- Experience with product photography, photo editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom), and content management systems.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and/or website platforms and mobile applications.
- Understanding of security principles and how they apply to e-commerce solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual aesthetics.
- Superior customer service-oriented approach, able to respond to requests with a sense of urgency.
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately.
- Demonstrated success in working independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with others with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems for desktops and server.
- High degree of honesty, ethics and integrity with prior work experience handling confidential information.
- Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility.
- Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies.
- Able to work beyond normal business hours if necessary.
