Our Summer Internship Program
Join our Redmond R&D team this summer to gain hands-on lab experience in a dynamic biotech setting. This internship is a great opportunity to build foundational skills in organic synthesis, lab operations, and analytical chemistry—all while contributing to meaningful research.
Job Responsibilities
Location: Redmond, WA
Internship Dates: Monday, June 23 – Friday, August 15, 2025
Schedule: GenScript will provide flexibility and tailor each intern’s schedule to their needs; however, we will target 30 hours per week (ideally 9 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday).
Compensation: $22/hour for undergraduates, $25/hour for graduate students

Job Responsibilities
- Perform organic synthesis under the guidance of experienced scientists
- Conduct routine HPLC analyses and assist in interpreting results
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked laboratory workspace
- Assist with chemical inventory management and lab supply tracking
- Follow established lab protocols and safety procedures
- Support day-to-day lab operations and ongoing research projects
- Document experimental results accurately and promptly
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in a lab setting
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- No prior lab experience required, but adherence to safety standards is essential
