Your Role
As a Finance Intern in Gensler's Washington, D.C. office, you will join our creative studio environment for a part-time, paid internship opportunity, beginning May/June 2025.
Our Gensler Finance teams are an integral part of helping 5,000 design professionals serve clients and grow our practice across the world. What You Will Do During This Internship
- Collaborate with Gensler team members across departments to ensure project-related documentation is maintained in contract files
- Work closely with our Accounts Payable department, supporting our Coupa P2P system
- Support Project Accountants with invoicing compilation, reporting, and other tasks as needed
- Other special projects as assigned.
- You will work with like-minded accountants and creatives with a talent and love for telling stories about the architecture and design industry.
- In addition to hands-on learning, you will be responsible for one focused research project during the course of your internship that we will tailor with you to match your personal interests and our firm's business needs
Your Qualifications
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, proactive, and a positive attitude
*This is not a remote or hybrid position. The successful candidate will be expected to live in or relocate to the area of the selected Gensler office upon acceptance.
**For the Washington, D.C. office only, the compensation is$24 per hourbased upon experience and year completed in your educational program.
