Our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is purpose-built and has an impeccable Oregon Health Authority site survey record. This same-day surgery center is known for delivering top-tier eyecare in a safe, caring and comfortable environment and is equipped with modern, comprehensive technology to ensure only the best outcomes for our patients. Procedure load consists primarily of cataracts, in addition to some cornea procedures, ocular plastics and other related procedures. You will join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to excellence in patient care, integrity in the workplace and a compassionate, forward thinking approach to individual patient needs and circumstances.
Primary Responsibilities

- Uphold patient safety at all times.
- Use, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment as needed.
- Demonstrate basic competencies in perioperative nursing.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures with accuracy and adequate speed.
- Maintain strict sterile technique in the handling of medical instruments & equipment.
- Exhibit adequate knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPPA and other privacy requirements.
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered Oregon nursing license, required.
- Speak, read and write legibly and professionally in English.
- Previous surgical experience preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Regularly available for Tuesday/Thursday surgical days (minimum 5 days per month required).

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
