Now Hiring: Controls Engineer – PLC & Automation Specialist
Are you an experienced Controls Engineer with a passion for PLC programming, automation, and motion control? Join our team and work on cutting-edge automation projects in high-tech manufacturing environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, program, and integrate PLC and HMI systems, with a focus on Rockwell Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, RSLogix, Studio 5000) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC).
- Work with motion control programming and commissioning, including Servos, VFDs, and more.
- Utilize SCADA systems (Ignition preferred) and programming languages such as Python, C#/.NET, Java (a plus).
- Create ladder logic and program from scratch, ensuring seamless integration with automation systems.
- Perform hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan (a plus).
- Integrate and commission automotive manufacturing systems within customer-defined standards.
- Work with various field bus networks, including DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, and more.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of Controls Engineering experience with PLC/HMI programming.
- 3 years of recent experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs.
- Experience with motion control systems (Servos, VFDs, etc.).
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and programming languages is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
- Ability to write, develop, and troubleshoot ladder logic and control programs from scratch.
