About the Role
As a Cost Accountant , you'll play a key role in implementing cost accounting methodologies, supporting inventory processes, analyzing financial data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and accuracy in operations.
What You’ll Do
- Standard Costing : Implement and maintain standard costing methodologies.
- Inventory Control : Reconcile inventory and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Problem Solving : Investigate and resolve costing errors (e.g., BOM, work orders, production routers).
- Financial Analysis : Assist with monthly close reports, journal entries, and P&L impact reviews.
- Inter-company Pricing : Support pricing for inter-company transactions and transfer pricing compliance.
- Collaboration : Partner with engineering teams to set initial costs for new products.
- Budgeting : Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Audit Support : Assist in financial statement and regulatory audits.
