As an administrator, you will report directly to our Assistant Vice President of Operations. You will manage the day-to-day operations of your assigned hospice location, ensuring a seamless admission process for patients and the coordination of complementary ancillary services. You will also oversee the direction, supervision, and evaluation of hospice personnel and volunteers, fostering strong communication with leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through a focus on quality care and service.
- Incorporate continuous quality improvement principles in daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures.
- Manage Human Resources effectively, promoting positive communication.
- Oversee orientation, training, and ongoing education for employees and volunteers.
- Select, supervise, and evaluate interdisciplinary team members.
- Manage office operations, ensuring timely and accurate service documentation.
- Monitor patient care quality, processing emergency calls and requests for assistance.
- Engage with colleagues, patients, and families to address problems and concerns.
- Manage financial resources, preparing and reviewing budgets and expenses. About You :
- Education :
Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Minimum of one year management or supervisory experience required.
Current nursing license in the state of employment.
Proficient in operating computer systems and standard office equipment.
