Role Description
This is a hybrid volunteer role at Gentiva Hospice located in Kissimmee, FL. The Volunteer will assist in providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families. Administraive positions areavailable in office as well, allowing for flexibility in contributing to the hospice's mission.
Qualifications
- Compassion, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Respect for patient confidentiality and boundaries
- Willingness to undergo training in hospice care
- Availability to dedicate time to volunteering
