What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Gentle Dental Family Care?
We are a modern PPO/Fee For Service general & cosmetic dental practice looking to hire a full time dental receptionist. Must have at least SIX MONTHS OF DENTAL EXPERIENCE (Please do not apply if you do not have dental administrative experience).
Looking for an individual who is interested in a long term position with room to grow, who is a committed team player, with great social and customer service skills. Our office is slower paced as we only accept certain patients so work load is manageable and shared with the office manager. Our office is only open to patients 4 days a week including Sunday, so Sunday availability is a MUST.
Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred. Position is a full time permanent position for immediate hire.
Responsibilities include;
* Greeting patients
* Verifying insurances
* Confirming appointments
* Calculating co-payments
* Inputing treatment plans and other patient documents
* Collecting payments
* Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
