Make a difference as a Veterinary Assistant
As a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant at Gentle Doctor Animal Hospitals, your day-to-day responsibilities will be both engaging and fulfilling. You can expect to assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that pets receive the highest level of care. Daily tasks will include preparing medical instruments, monitoring patients, and providing compassionate support to pet owners.
Your schedule will be three days a week from 6:55 AM to 6:15 PM, with a half-day during the week and rotating Saturdays. You'll also participate in weekend kennel duties (these weekends pay $3 more per hour) one weekend a month, covering both Saturday and Sunday, ensuring our furry boarding animals receive care. This structure allows for a balanced work-life harmony while dedicating yourself to improving the health and well-being of our furry friends. This role provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the veterinary field while building strong relationships with animals and their families.
