Role Description
This is a full-time role for an experienced Dental Assistant at Gentle Family Dentistry in Cedar City, UT. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dental team in various tasks related to dental care, sterilization, and dental assisting. These tasks include but are not limited to:
- Preparing trays for procedures
- Passing equipment, materials, and instruments to dentist
- Using suction to keep patient's mouth dry and clear
- Helping the patient stay calm and comfortable during procedures
- Cleaning and setting up treatment rooms
- Assisting Dental Hygienists in perio charting, turning over rooms, and capturing radiographs
- Accurately notating changes to clinical chart and treatment plans
- etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Accurate radiograph capture
- Experience with CEREC preferred
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
