This role is focused on supporting the growth of the Gentle Giant Moving Companies Florida office by leveraging new and existing relationships with Realtors and other key influencers who recommend movers to their clients. This person will be representing the company by being involved with membership organizations, attending tradeshows, networking events, and other lead generation activities as defined by the marketing strategy.
The right candidate will have proven success in networking, public speaking, and lead generation in a previous role. They will have a proactive, confident attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
The candidate must have the flexibility to travel locally in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area and to staff occasional early morning and evening in-person events as needed. This is a part-time role and will require a 25 hours a week commitment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and foster relationships with Realtors, Professional Organizers, Building Managers, and other key partners
- Identify opportunities to maximize brand exposure and generate additional business with existing partnerships
- Identify and attend networking events and tradeshows to drive awareness, make new contacts, and generate leads
- Secure meetings/presentations with Realtors and other key partners
- Weekly email outreach to Realtors and other professionals listed on comment cards
- Cold-calling apartment buildings and Realtor offices
- Represent the company in local membership organizations
- Respond to inquiries from key partners in a timely manner – including occasional off hours communication (evenings and weekends)
- Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent public speaker in both small and large groups
- Previous experience and proven success in a similar role
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to staff events after hours and on weekends. Occasional travel required.
Salary : $25 - $28
