About the Position: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in supporting an adult with special needs. The individual is nonverbal, uses a wheelchair but has limited mobility, experiences seizures, and requires assistance with personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

The individual is nonverbal, uses a wheelchair but has limited mobility, experiences seizures, and requires assistance with personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, including transferring to and from a wheelchair
- Monitor and manage seizures, ensuring the individual's safety
- Assist with toileting and changing briefs as needed
- Prepare and administer meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and assist with transfers.
- Patience and a positive attitude.
- Ability to pass a Level Two Background Check.
- Part time
- 30 hours a week
- 6 hour shifts
- 9am-3pm
Salary : $15 - $17
