We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist a 43-year-old male with intellectual disabilities, sleep apnea, and depression. The client experiences communication difficulties, is overweight, and requires support with various daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living skills, including personal care and hygiene.
- Encourage and help the client with cleaning and laundry tasks.
- Support budgeting and financial management.
- Provide assistance with cooking and meal preparation.
- Accompany the client to visit his mother twice a week.
- Take the client to community activities, such as bingo and volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Must pass Level 2 Background Check.
Schedule
- Part Time
- 13 hours weekly
- 5 hour shift on Tuesday
- 4 hour shifts on Monday & Wednesday
