What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Gentry Locke Attorneys?
The Richmond office of Gentry Locke is recruiting for an associate to join the Government, Regulatory & Investigations practice. This associate will work with Gentry Lockes white collar defense team and must have a demonstrated interest in defending enforcement actions, conducting internal investigations, and providing compliance advice. The successful candidate will be expected to think creatively and spontaneously and have the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team. The associate will manage a high volume of various litigation and enforcement matters and have significant client contact. The basic requirements to become the next member of our team: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Virginia; if not currently a member of the Virginia Bar, the selected candidate must become a member promptly; required experience: judicial clerkship or 1-2 years experience in private practice, criminal defense or prosecution.
