First Article Inspector l

Summary : The First-Article Inspector is responsible for inspecting the first piece of a manufacturing operation to the blueprint or other engineering documents.

Essential Functions :

Use various measurement tools such as CMM’s, Optical Comparator, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc. to measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to customer drawing or in-process sketch specifications.

Review product manufacturing and quality records to verify completeness and acceptability.

Identify, segregate and document nonconforming material.

Understanding of and or prior experience with PC-DMIS strongly preferred.

Knowledge of MSA and Gage R&R studies a plus.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30p.m.
