Manual Machinist Job Description
Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Gilbert, AZ, 85233. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Machine parts to close tolerances using manual machining techniques
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Works with Engineering and Quality on issues, needs and improvements
- Communicates with Tooling department to determine needs and offer suggestions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
U.S. Person Requirements
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position.
