Genuine Parts Company is looking for an Account Relationship Specialist to join our team. As a critical part of our sales support team, you will focus on building relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and wants.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of our company's products and services, as well as excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
You will work closely with customers to determine their needs and preferences, then use this information to influence our gross profit through negotiating the sale price and purchase price within certain parameters.
Beyond these responsibilities, you will:
- Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales)
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business and improve customer satisfaction
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and concerns
