About the Opportunity
The Genuine Parts Company is seeking an experienced Automotive Solutions Manager to lead our Paint, Body, and Equipment business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business relationships, and maintaining existing accounts.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales revenue and expand market share.
- BUILD and maintain strong relationships with commercial & wholesale customers, identifying opportunities to increase category sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with mixing stores to provide product expertise and support, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform business decisions and drive results.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, providing regular updates on sales performance and market analysis.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing new business relationships and growing existing accounts.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within assigned territory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
