SUMMARY :
As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling orders and effectively managing communications with customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and execute order entry with accuracy.
- Process customer orders through various channels including telephone, fax, email, and in-person sales.
- Contribute to Motion Industries' profitability by negotiating pricing within established parameters.
- Adjust pricing for non-contract customers in response to competitive demands while maximizing company profit.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business and enhance service efficiencies.
- Manage inventory levels effectively by placing orders as required.
- Authorise orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order without further approval.
- Source products through branch, distribution center, or supplier inventory.
- Select cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
- Collaborate with Account Representatives to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Expedite backorders and manage customer returns as necessary.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
A high school diploma or GED and 0-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
Dependability, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are also required. A proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively is necessary. Moderate computer proficiency, particularly in information processing and product research, is expected. Familiarity with product knowledge is advantageous.
