About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Local Outside Salesperson to join our team at Heavy Vehicle Parts Group Stores. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our entire line of Heavy-Duty products and programs, and driving business growth in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop business plans that meet product and sales goals
- Promote and sell our Heavy-Duty products and programs to new and existing customers
- Continuously update and improve knowledge of Heavy-Duty products by interacting with manufacturer's representatives
- Identify and understand customer needs, leveraging product knowledge to suggest solutions and meet those needs
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers based on their needs
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, resolving any issues that may arise post-sale
- Collaborate with manufacturer's representatives to increase customer knowledge of our product lines
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and customer or vendor relationship problems
- Provide regular territory sales forecasts
