The Genuine Parts Company is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Local Outside Sales team as a Heavy Duty Parts Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our extensive range of Heavy Duty products and programs, developing strong relationships with customers, and working closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers through exceptional service, responsive communication, and timely issue resolution
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement business strategies that drive product and sales growth
- Promote our comprehensive portfolio of Heavy Duty products and services to new and existing customers
- Utilize strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to company policies, and demonstrate a strong work ethic
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required; ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential
- A minimum age requirement of 18 years old applies to all applicants
- Prior knowledge or experience in the Heavy Duty parts industry is beneficial, but not necessary; training and development opportunities are available
