Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and increasing sales through NAPA store end-user accounts. This role involves coordinating and implementing market-share impacting products and programs at the street level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively make in-person calls with assigned existing account base to engage and develop sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts to promote our products and services.
- Work closely with store decision-makers to expand volume business by identifying and converting sales.
- Collaborate with local Distribution Center Sales Teams to offer insight and intelligence on customer demands.
- Leverage team knowledge, tools, and development opportunities to master the sales pitch.
- Identify areas of opportunity and advise management.
- Understand T&E product offerings, education, programs, warranties, and rebates.
- Engage in regular communication with manager, vendors, and T&E colleagues regarding potential sales leads or resolving customer issues.
- Attend in-store sales events and promotions.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and activity requirements.
- Conduct periodic account reviews to keep management updated on key progress indicators.
