JOB DUTIES
- Manage Consignment customer inventory levels by ordering necessary items.
- Sources products from branch inventory, Distribution Center inventory, or supplier inventory as needed.
- Identify and sell Motion Industries' assets, sometimes locating products for customers.
- Negotiate sale and purchase prices within established parameters to maximize gross profit.
- Promote products to existing customers to generate sales and drive revenue growth.
- Expedite backorders by pulling inventory and preparing orders for shipment.
- Handle customer returns and place orders up to $10,000 without approval.
- Adjust non-contract customer pricing based on competition while maximizing profit.
- Minimize Branch freight costs by selecting the most cost-effective shipping methods.
- Routinely interact with customers to obtain and fulfill orders correctly, and engage with suppliers for pricing information.
- Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers via phone or email in troubleshooting and identifying correct parts.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance professional growth and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take orders via phone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in sales.
REQUIREMENTS
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
