Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a On-Site Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and accurately processing orders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Orders items to maintain adequate inventory levels for Consignment customers.
- Sources products from various locations, including branch inventory, Distribution Center inventory, or supplier inventory.
- Ensures identification and sale of Motion Industries' assets, which may require locating products.
- Negotiates sale prices and purchase prices within certain parameters to maximize gross profit.
- Proactively generates sales by promoting Motion Industries' products to existing customers.
- Expedites backorders, pulls inventory, and prepares orders for shipment to customers.
- Handles customer returns and places orders without approval up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per Purchase Order.
- Adjusts non-contract customer pricing based on competition while maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
- Minimizes Branch freight cost by determining the most cost-effective method to fulfill customer orders.
