SUMMARY:
The Sales Development Representative role professionally represents Motion Industries to our customers with the knowledge and skills to provide them the product or service they need. This role is responsible for engaging with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
JOB DUTIES:
Proactively makes outbound calls to assigned customers to expand volume business and increase sales revenue.
Works closely with decision makers to identify, quote, and convert sales on products not currently being purchased by the customer.
Collaborates with customer service representatives to ensure seamless order entry, tracking, and other technical needs are met.
Presents Ecommerce capabilities to customers and trains them on these tools as needed, making it easy to do business.
Updates CRM regularly to stay current on account follow-ups and active quoting opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and two (2) or more years of related sales experience or an equivalent combination.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong sales experience in making proactive outbound calls and understanding customer pain points, product requirements, and identifying potential add-on sales opportunities.
Reliable, organized, detailed, focused, and able to effectively collaborate with field sales teams.
Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation.
Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools such as CRM, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and achieve sales growth goals from assigned accounts.
