In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, increasing sales revenue, and promoting our products and services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.
- BUILD and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- PROMOTE our entire line of products and programs to wholesale customers, highlighting the benefits and value they bring.
- Collaborate with local store managers to develop plans to increase sales and proactively identify, contact, manage, and develop leads on a local basis.
- Identify specific customer needs and align solutions with NAPA's offerings, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value.
- Work closely with manufacturer's representatives to improve program offerings and grow customer knowledge of lines.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, providing exceptional service and support through all eSales programs.
- Deliver educational seminars, clinics, and presentations on NAPA product lines and services, demonstrating expertise and enthusiasm.
You'll Be Successful in This Role If:
- Have prior experience in retail or outside sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Hold at least 2 years of experience in a customer-focused role, with a demonstrated ability to perform in a quota-driven environment.
- Understand and demonstrate basic selling skills, such as preparing for sales calls, managing customer meetings, handling resistance, closing sales, and account maintenance.
- Are able to present information effectively in group meetings, showcasing your knowledge and passion.
- Hold a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 4 years.
