Job Summary:
The Senior Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring customer expectations are met by responding to inquiries and processing orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders via various channels, including phone, fax, email, and electronic methods.
- Negotiate prices to influence Motion Industries' gross profit, while considering customer demands and competition.
- Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs, maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
- Built lasting customer relationships through effective communication and process improvements.
- Manage inventory levels by ordering items as needed.
- Place orders up to $10,000 without approval and expedite backorders when necessary.
- Source products from branch inventory, distribution centers, or supplier stock.
- Determine cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
- Handle customer returns and provide coaching to less experienced representatives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
