We are a leading auto parts store, seeking talented individuals to join our team as NAPA Counter Sales Associates. As the face of our retail stores, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and automotive expertise to both retail and wholesale customers. No prior technical experience is necessary, but having a background in automotive parts is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to customers' auto parts needs, both in-store and over the phone
- Utilize your knowledge of automotive parts to assist colleagues in answering customer inquiries
- Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with every visitor to our stores
- Maintain a high level of energy and customer focus in our fast-paced retail environment
- Welcome customers into our stores and engage them to provide a positive shopping experience
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or a willingness to learn about auto parts
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with technical or trade school courses a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A love for fast-paced retail environments and great listening skills
Bonus Qualifications:
- A passion for the automotive industry, including heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership sectors
- Experience working in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision shop
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- A customer-centric approach (both internal and external)
- ASE certifications

This role offers a starting hourly rate of $18.75, with opportunities for advancement and pay progression based on individual performance and qualifications.
