We are a leading parts store looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family as Automotive Parts Specialists. This role is considered the face of the retail store, providing exceptional customer service and expertise in automotive parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide auto parts solutions and answers for customers in person and over the phone
- Utilize parts knowledge to assist team members and customers
- Promote outstanding customer care and engagement with every interaction
- Maintain a high level of energy in fast-paced stores
- Welcome customers into stores and provide a positive experience
- Operate technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalog systems
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for helping customers with their auto parts needs
- Background or experience in the automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a dynamic retail environment
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry (or willingness to learn)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with fast-paced retail environments
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
- Customer-centric approach and ASE Certifications
