We are more than a parts store, and we're seeking exceptional talent to join our NAPA family. As a NAPA Counter Sales representative, you'll be the face of our retail store and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs.
You don't need to be an expert in tearing down and rebuilding engines; however, having a background and knowledge of automotive parts is essential. A NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist is an excellent opportunity for those looking to spend their career with us or explore other careers within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
- Utilize your parts knowledge to assist NAPA team members in answering customer questions.
- Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with every visitor to our stores.
- Bring a customer-focused, high-energy approach to our fast-paced stores.
- Welcome retail customers into our stores and engage them to provide a positive consumer experience.

- You've gained experience in the automotive industry or have developed skills through personal projects and car repairs.

Requirements:
- A valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or a willingness to learn.
- A high school diploma or GED, along with technical or trade school courses or degrees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environments.
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision.
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
- A customer-centric approach (internal and external).
- ASE certifications.
