Job Summary
We are a parts store and more, seeking talented Warehouse Associates to join our NAPA family. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering parts to our customers, making a difference in their lives.
Main Responsibilities
- Expedite incoming and outgoing freight in our NAPA Distribution Center Warehouse.
- Process inventory and optimize warehouse space usage.
- Check, verify, load, stock, and pull inventory to meet store and customer orders.
- Unpack incoming parts shipments from suppliers.
- Pull orders for standard customer stock, special orders, and main counter demands accurately and completely.
- Use electronic scan-guns, review outbound customer orders, ensure safe packing, and label shipping trays/packages according to DT standards and hazardous material regulations.
- Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing materials, and pallets, as well as maintain general housekeeping of the facility and product line areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a distribution center and/or warehouse environment (RF scanning equipment experience is a plus).
- Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 75 pounds and pushing/pulling 300 pounds using mechanical aids.
- Able to move engine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids.
- Understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes for proper identification and placement.
- Basic understanding and ability to operate a computer terminal.
