Senior Property Accountant

Well-established real estate investment firm with a $10B national portfolio is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to be responsible for a portfolio of mixed-use properties. 9-5 hours, and work from home twice per week.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare GAAP based financial statements for assigned portfolio

· Prepare monthly workpapers and reporting packages

· Interface with investors and lenders

· Maintain cash forecast model and monitor cash flow

· Assist in budget preparation and review

· Assist in year-end audit process

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

· Audit and/or accounting experience in real estate

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong computer skills including Excel

· Knowledge of Yardi, MRI or similar software is preferred
