The Sr. Financial Analyst role presents a valuable opportunity to integrate into the Finance and Business teams.
This position involves creating forecasts for various time frames – short, medium, and long – and analyzing business outcomes while playing a crucial part in both tactical and strategic decision-making processes.
Duties And Responsibilities
Oversight of Forecasting and Planning
Direct the forecasting processes, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Strategic Planning initiatives to align with the company's objectives.
Reconciliation Management
Establish a robust reconciliation process and perform quarterly true-ups for profit-sharing agreements to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Deliver comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including in-depth analysis of revenue and margins at both the total business and individual customer levels. This will encompass regular reporting and updates to forecasted performance.
Management of Formula Pricing
Oversee the entire process related to Formula Pricing for major customers, including monthly invoicing and quarterly reconciliations.
Facilitation of Cost Reviews
Coordinate and conduct monthly reviews of functional costs, working closely with functional leaders to achieve spending objectives and uncover productivity enhancements.
Basic Qualifications
Degree Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience
A minimum of 5 years in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or Accounting.Preferred Certifications
Holding a CMA, CPA, or an MBA is beneficial.Industry Exposure
Experience in the chemical sector is desirable.
