Genuine Search Group, a leading company in the Plastic Injection Molding industry, requires a skilled Mold Maker in New Port Richey, FL.
This position involves constructing, repairing, and modifying complex plastic injection molds.
Key Tasks:
- Build and repair molds according to customer requirements.
- Solve mold-related problems efficiently.
- Conduct equipment operation and inspections with minimal supervision.
- Configure and operate CNC machines.
- Coordinate with vendors and colleagues.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Tooling Engineers, CNC machinists, and other Mold Makers.
- Construct runnerless molds under supervision.
- Rack and gear molds and assemble molds using hydraulic cylinders.
- Use Mastercam Software.
- Perform minor mold repairs.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of mold making experience with expertise in precision surface grinding, CNC milling, and EDM processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mastercam software.
- Strong mathematical skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and print reading.
- Understanding of tool shop procedures.
- Possible to lift 70 pounds and use precise measurement instruments.
- Valid ID and authorization to work in the US.
