Reproductive Technician

Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Reproductive Technician to join our Sales & Sales Support team in the South-Central Wisconsin area. The Reproductive Technician has primary accountability for providing insemination service and support to sales representatives and customers. They will resolve technical issues related to products and services during the sales process, ensuring customers receive maximum benefits from the organization's offerings. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, technical expertise in reproductive management, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

You Will

• Be accountable for the safe, efficient, and successful insemination of customers' herds.
• Provide heat detection and insemination services to assigned customers.
• Develop on-farm procedures in collaboration with customers to facilitate the implementation of RMS (Reproductive Management System) in their operations.
• Cooperate with other farm advisors (e.g., veterinarians, nutritionists) to integrate RMS into the total farm management plan.
• Work cooperatively with Independent Representatives in the area.
• Develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with management, sales teams, Independent Representatives, and customers.
• Represent ABS Global in a manner consistent with company values.
• Strive to develop new skills and assume greater responsibility within the department and organization.
• Ensure ABS Global is a healthy and safe environment to work by observing both company safety rules and policies/guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or Associate's degree in Agribusiness or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year insemination experience preferred.
• Valid state Driver’s License.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
