Are you the Laboratory Instrument Service Technician we're looking for?
To excel as an Instrumentation Service Technician at Genview DX, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training. Your knowledge of calibration principles and procedures, coupled with excellent presentation and communication skills, will be crucial in explaining and resolving calibration issues effectively. A strong process orientation and focus on delivering high-quality outcomes are essential, along with exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. Your ability to work independently, coordinate daily workloads efficiently, and maintain laboratory equipment with attention to detail will set you up for success. Additionally, you should be able to lift test equipment unassisted, work well in confined areas, and prioritize safety in all on-site activities.
Your responsibilities will include inspecting, calibrating, and repairing equipment, providing accurate evaluations and work estimates, engaging with internal teams and vendors, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining meticulous records of calibration activities.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
- You should have : a Bachelors degree or 3-5 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education, military training and / or experience.
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods
- and techniques and the ability to explain calibration issues and processes as needed.
- Presentation written and personal communication skills.
- Strong process orientation with a focus on high-quality outcomes. Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills and PC 10 key proficiency.
- Ability to perform work independently without direct supervision in accordance with Company processes and standards.
- Respect requests for safety when performing work.
- Ability to effectively coordinate and manage daily workloads. Ability to perform housekeeping maintenance and organization of company laboratory equipment.
- Ability to perform lifting of test equipment unassisted (up to 50 lbs.).
- Ability to work in confined work areas with a group of others.
