We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection at various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Your expertise in phlebotomy will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and laboratory operations.
Duties
- Perform venipunctures and capillary collections for blood samples in a mobile setting.
- Ensure proper identification of patients and accurately label specimens.
- Process specimens according to laboratory standards and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing excellent patient service and addressing any concerns.
- Document all procedures accurately in compliance with medical terminology and laboratory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques.
- Experience in patient care with the ability to take vital signs.
- Proficiency in phlebotomizing techniques and specimen collection processing.
- Previous experience in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a mobile environment.
- Valid certification or training in phlebotomy is highly desirable.
