YOUR ROLE

As an IT team member, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions that are the foundation of the world class customer service that our customers expect and deserve – now and in the future.

What You Will Be Doing

As a member of the Sales Technology Team, you will work on and contribute to our portfolio of web-based applications and supporting services, with a focus on our enrollment website, eApplication and illustration capabilities in support of our new business initiatives.

• Responsible for supporting business needs by leading/coordinating project builds, developing solutions, and establishing clear documentation
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development, emerging new technologies and off-the-shelf alternatives
• Leads development and oversees testing while managing changes for supported applications including the managing and distribution of team assignments
• Translate simple and complex user stories into functional and actionable software. Create visual representations of logical business processes
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix production problems as they arise by brainstorming the best possible solution, while understanding the impact of system downtime and SLAs
• Collaborate with teams that are geographically dispersed among different locations and time zones
  
  

What You Bring

• A strong background in developing and delivering solutions
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent certifications
• 8 years in Application Development
• 6 years of experience programming in Java/J2EE, and web development frameworks (Angular, React), Kubernetes, Spring boot, and experience in Oracle DB
• 6 years of experience in data technologies/design
• 4 years of experience in developing, supporting, and consuming RESTful services and microservices
• Experience with data visualization & analytics tools
• Good understanding of Software Engineering principles
• Flexibility and proven ability to deliver with constantly changing priorities
• Continuous process improvement mindset
• Understanding of health care or insurance businesses, products, services, and operations
• Knowledge of OWASP top 10
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD technologies
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)

Additional Information

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $91,800 up to the maximum of $181,200. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
