YOUR ROLE
You will be part of a large infrastructure team and play a crucial role in maintaining our Azure infrastructure while taking on additional responsibilities related to Cloud Systems Administration and DevOps in a Hybrid environment. You will be part of establishing a cloud support model and laying the foundation of expectations for operations moving forward.

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $73,900 up to the maximum of $142,700. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 7% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.

YOUR ROLE

What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Adhering to operational excellence.
- Take on responsibilities as it related to Cloud Systems Administration and DevOps.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures. Automate where necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
- Implement and maintain security best practices.
- Proactively monitor cloud environments to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing risks and ensuring smooth operations.
- Drive cloud automation initiatives to achieve continuous service delivery and improvements.
- Enhance cloud performance and ensure resilience and security of cloud infrastructure.
- Supporting Application Teams, Security and our Business Partners on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinating with on premises infrastructure teams, security and Cloud Engineering groups to deliver a unified service to our customers.
- Constantly assessing and advising on improvements to engineering teams. Coordinating their implementation.
- 3 years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or related role.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure and networking services, including Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, VPN Gateway, and Azure Load Balancer.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Database, Storage, Security, etc.) cloud security best practices, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Terraform), and container orchestration (ECS, EKS).
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, release management, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Security mindset with experience in implementing security best practices and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and devise effective solutions. Ability to lead triage calls and communicate issues in a concise, effective manner.
