Director, Portfolio Management

YOUR ROLE
As a direct report to Genworth's Head of Portfolio Management, the Director, Portfolio Management will be responsible for the management of key insurance business line portfolios. You will be responsible for evaluating and recommending strategic and tactical investment opportunities, primarily in fixed income. The position will be expected to influence strategy decisions for Genworths $55B general account portfolio. The position will play an active role in the supervision of the portfolio in accordance with the companys unique ALM needs, risk-return objectives, and governing documents. The position will interact extensively with business line partners and asset class specialists. The ideal candidate will have a deep quantitative and analytical background and be a skillful conduit of solutions / ideas. You will need fixed income expertise, proficiency in asset allocation and ALM, creativity and strong communication skills.

For the State of New York :
The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $149,400 up to the maximum of $298,200. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 80% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
